
Daniel E. James, Co-Founder and President.
Dan is currently working on a Master of Divinity degree at Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia PA. He holds a B.S. in Bible, Christian Life & Ministry from Lancaster Bible College and graduated with High Honors. He also has an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering.
Dan has spent much of the last 7 years studying, writing and teaching about scripture. His shared passion for discipleship and desire to see excellent Biblical teaching has driven him and his wife Rebecca to pioneer this ministry. Dan and Rebecca live in Harrisburg with their three children Victoria, Daniel and Sophia.
Rebecca James, Co-Founder and Executive Director.
Rebecca was a successful Jr. Executive for a top 500 company, resigning after 10+ years to be homemaker. Although her college education was in the scientific field, Chemical Technology, her passion was for business and people. She was directly responsible for over $25 Million of her company’s business and has earned 5 National Awards. Rebecca trained thousands of people and developed 2 of the most accomplished management teams in her company during her tenure. Her superiors, her understudies and her subordinates have noted publicly “the positive difference Rebecca made in their professional and personal lives, always striving for excellence and delivering it”. During her busy time away from the corporate world, Rebecca continued to serve the Lord and the community through directing & co-directing large local Christian events as well as teaching in the church.
Dr. Christopher Perrin, Board Member.
Chris is the publisher with Classical Academic Press, a consultant to classical, Christian schools and the Director of Operations with the Classical School Foundation. Chris has taught at Messiah College and Chesapeake Theological Seminary and served as headmaster of Covenant Christian Academy in Harrisburg, PA from its founding in 1997 until 2007.
He received his B.A. in history from the University of South Carolina, his M.Div. from Westminster Theological Seminary in California and his Ph.D. in Apologetics from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia. He was also a special student in literature at St. Johns College in Annapolis. Chris is the author of the books An Introduction to Classical Education: A Guide for Parents, Greek for Children, and co-author of the Latin for Children series published by Classical Academic Press. Chris and his wife Christine live in Camp Hill, PA with their three children Zoe, Noelle and Noah.
Lisa Dees, Board Member.
Lisa is an attorney with the Department of Public Welfare’s Office of General Counsel in Harrisburg, PA. Lisa received her Bachelors of Science from Seton Hall University, and her Juris Doctor from Dickinson School of Law. She is also the president of Women On The Move, Inc., a non-profit organization developed to teach women to utilize their God-given talents and abilities to overcome obstacles and achieve their goals despite challenges. She is the author/editor of Living In Him, a bi-weekly Internet women’s devotional designed to encourage and inspire women through sharing the Holy Bible. She is the creator/director of Moments Of Praise, the radio ministry of Women on the Move heard on local Harrisburg Christian radio stations.
Lisa also founded the Mother’s Day Makeover Program, by which women housed in local city shelters receive free makeovers sponsored by hairstylists and manicurists during the week of Mother’s Day. In addition, gifts are donated to the women through department stores, local salons, and other businesses. Lisa is a teacher of God’s word who utilizes Godly principles to strengthen women to mature into the women God has made them to be. Lisa and her husband, Terence, live in Harrisburg with their two children, Aaron & Azra.
Dr. Nancy J. Patrick, Board Member.
Nancy has spent the last 7 years as a Professor of Special Education at Messiah College in Grantham, Pennsylvania, prior to that she served as a teacher, school psychologist and administrator in public school settings for 20 years. She is an author, speaker and researcher. Nancy has a heart for the primary mission of the church which is to reconcile all people to God through Jesus Christ. She has served in her local church by teaching children, youth and adults.
Nancy earned a BA in Sociology from Texas A & I University, M.Ed. in Special Education from The University of North Florida and Ph.D. in School Psychology from The Pennsylvania State University. Dr. Patrick also attended Southern Seminary.
Captain Bill Patrick, Board Member.
Bill is an airline pilot for American Airlines. He began his flying career as a naval aviator. He earned a BS in Electrical Engineering Technology from Fairmont State University, MA in Management and Business Administration from Webster University and is currently completing his MDiv in pastoral studies from Southern Seminary and Liberty University. Bill has served his church in many areas including deacon and Bible teacher of adults and youth. Bill has a heart for reconnecting a lost world to the creator.
Bill and Nancy have been married for 33 years and they have three children and one grandchild. They are core members of Living Legacy Church a new church plant in Hershey, Pennsylvania associated with the Southern Baptist Convention.
Rev. Steve Heinbaugh, Board Member.
Steve has spent the last 25 years in Pastoral ministry including planting 2 churches. He has served an adjunct Professor of Latin at Messiah College. Steve works for Gaudenzia writing curriculum as the Family Program Coordinator. He currently serves as the full time Pastor for Trinity UCC Church in Millersburg PA as well as an Assistant to the Pastor at Trinity PCA in Harrisburg.
In addition Steve earned his MA in Old Testament and his MDiv from Biblical Theological Seminary in Hatfield PA and his BS in Education from Shippensburg State University. Steve lives in Harrisburg, PA with his wife of 24 years, Shelley, and his two children, Benjamin and Rachel.
